Governors Conference on Food Safety
|
|
An important issue in assuring the future stability of our food system is addressing the issue of consumer trust and confidence. The U.S. food supply is abundant, affordable, and conveniently delivered to the consumer. While generally perceived as safe, public interest in food safety has increased. The Third Governor's Conference on Ensuring Food Safety was held on May 5-7th, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska. The conference focused mainly on the emerging issues and processing strategies for controlling E. coli O157:H7. Listed below is the link where you can watch the speakers at the Governor’s Conference.
