Q: If Canadian cattle are transported to a feedlot, are there any requirements when shipping to slaughter from the feedlot.
|
|
A: There are no additional requirements for properly identified Canadian cattle once they have arrived at a Nebraska farm or feedlot. Proper identification allows the animal to be traced back to Canada in the (unlikely) event of a later BSE diagnosis.
